Peak Raid Fundraiser for Buxton Mountain Rescue Team Sunday 31st May
Starting from The Crispin Inn, Great Longstone, the race route takes in Longstone Edge Combes Dale, Oary Stones and more.
A fell race with a difference, you choose your own route and collect as many points as you can within the two-hour time limit. Compete solo, or run as a pair (or walk or jog)! The score event format enables route choice according to ability, terrain and weather conditions.
Start times are between 9:30am and 11:00am.
All funds raised will be donated to the Buxton Mountain Rescue Team.
Early bird entry fees until Sunday 24 May.

Picture – Steph and Tom enjoying post race nutrition after Race 1 Chelmorton. If you’re ever in the area its well worth a visit to the Tagg Lane Dairy near Monyash. Nice coffee and delicious gelato.
Two races are now live and there have been lots of impressive performances. Kudos to the current overall leaders and congratulations and well done to everyone who has taken part so far.

Also, a special congratulations to brothers Pasco and Caspar Reynolds who are currently in 1st and 2nd place on the Race 1 leaderboard – a great family achievement!

28/04/2026 – Race 2 is Now Live!
Sweeping views from the top of Sir William Hill and a visit to the dramatic Bretton Clough. A contrasting area to Chelmorton, with good running across Abney and Eyam Moors before a tough climb to the finish. (Picture – Looking into Bretton Clough).

After the first month of racing the top three positions are:
Women: Sue Richmond leads the women’s race with an impressive 640 points, placing her 11th overall. She’s closely followed by Paula Hollings in 2nd with 620 points, and Ayako Yokoyama Nichols in 3rd with 610 points.
Men: The men’s race couldn’t be tighter at the top. Caspar Reynolds holds 1st place with a maximum 800 points, but David Pettit is breathing down his neck — matching him on points but falling just 21 seconds short. Martyn James rounds out the current top three podium with 780 points.
Congratulations to the race leaders and well done to everyone who has taken part so far.
